Clues & Picnics is run by locals who truly love where they live - the beaches, the community, the stories, and (let’s be honest) the food.

The business is proudly owned and operated by Anne and Colin Minion, who many will recognise from the award-winning Copper Trails Bike Hire. They are also joined by their daughter Tara, who shares her love of creativity, storytelling and celebrating all things local.

After years of living between Adelaide and the Copper Coast (but always finding her way back), Anne’s connection to Moonta and the Yorke Peninsula runs deep. It was here, inspired by a mystery picnic experience in Adelaide, that the idea for Clues & Picnics was born. The fun was undeniable… but so was the realisation that regional towns have so much more to offer.

From local bakeries and cafe’s to scenic parks, quirky corners and hidden historical gems, this region is full of stories waiting to be discovered. And when it comes to picnic spots? The Yorke Peninsula might just have some of the best anywhere.

Clues & Picnics is launching right here in Moonta, with plans to grow into other towns and create more unique experiences over time. Feedback is warmly welcomed — it helps shape each adventure and grow something the whole region can be proud of.
